This is an amazing collection of maps

All maps are from 1940. Released by department of Mines province of Ontario geological maps. All have been folded in booklet form and have creases from being stored this way. Some maps do have small fingerprints smudging on them but are In otherwise overall excellent condition. These maps would look amazing framed and displayed properly. The photos don’t quite do them justice. They have amazing colour and detail. The collection speaks for itself but here are the details.

Another huge map measuring 38“ x 48“. Map number 49a and 49B. Red lake area (West Sheet) this map looks like the most used of the maps and does have some visible smudging in the legend area.

In the photographs this will show as three maps and include 1) longitudinal section in the plane of the ore zone. 2) isometric projection showing the underground workings and stopes at the Howey mine 3) composite plan of 250 feet and 850 feet levels showing underground workings, geology, and quartz veins, Mckenzie red lake gold mines.
